DWT were again pleased to sponsor the Deeping Raft Race, which was celebrating it’s 10th year. This event has grown enormously over the years to be the largest of is kind in the UK; raising over £40,000 to help many local charities such as the Donna Cox Interferon Fund and schools in the surrounding area.

For the second year DWT sponsored the main arena event ‘It’s a knockout’, which proved very entertaining for all the on lookers. They were all a very competitive bunch and spent most of the rest of the day comparing bruises !

The evening played host to a dinner and dance with a delicious hog roast meal followed by a great band. To finish off the whole event everyone enjoyed a most spectacular, colourful firework and music display, certainly something to look forward to next year.
